Earthquake in Maryland.

The world's alarm clock?

At around 5:04am Montgomery and Howard County had a 3.7 earthquake. It woke me up, as well as Mom, Norman and Maui. Then about 5 or 6 minutes later, Ricky called me asking if I thought it was an earthquake. It only shook for about 10 seconds, and it felt more like a really bad thunderstorm or a series of 18 wheelers going through the neighborhood. Apparently people in York, PA could feel a little shake as well, but not as much as Gatherburg (where the center was).

Listening to the news, and people calling, everyone thought it was something just going on in their neighborhood, or something wrong with their own home. But then, the realized (like I did) that it must have been an earthquake.

I still can't believe that it just happened, and it was pretty scary, but a neat experience to have experienced and to actually remember it this time.
